Modules Language Development

- Services must be paid in full 20 days before the course starts in order to complete the enrolment and secure a place in the course and/or accommodation.
- Bookings are not transferable.
- Bank charges are payable by students
- Students must be 16 years of age or over

Cancellation Policy

- The cancelation needs to be communicated in writing to the school by the person that booked the course.
- No course changes will be allowed to make up for refunds in the case of course cancellations.
- Enrolment fees are non-refundable.
- The registration fee are non-refundable.
- No refund will be made for shortening the course duration after the payment.
- There is no refund for any cancellation once the course has commenced.
- After a course has started there is no refund for any accommodation or other item booked.
- No tuition refunds are given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.

Refund Policy

- Bookings may be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to commencement of the course without penalty or fee.
- A cancellation fee of € 150 applies when a course is cancelled less than 2 week/s before the course commencement date.
- A cancellation fee of € 250 applies when a course is cancelled less than 1 week before course commencement date.

Visa Refusal

- In case a visa is refused to the student, the school will charge 150 Euro and the remaining balance will be refunded to the student upon receipt of an original VISA refusal letter.

Other Terms

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These General Terms and Conditions apply to the courses and services offered by Alliance française de Montpellier (French courses, accommodation, cultural activities, etc.) and purchased by the Student either directly from the School or from an intermediary (particularly an agent).

1- TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION
In order to benefit from the services offered by the School, the Student must be at least 18 years old. The school only accepts a Student under 18 if they are more than 16 years old and with a parental consent letter and a copy of their parents’ certificate of insurance.

The School will not offer discounts, refunds or reschedule lessons that fall on Holidays and Bank holidays.

Cancellation fees
If the student/client cancels the course or the package, the Alliance française de Montpellier will deduce cancellation fees from the amount paid to the school.

Coursebooks and workbooks are not included in the registration fees.


The Client buys a language course (non-package)
Once the course has started, no partial refund can be granted for classes not attended and no postponement can be allowed except under special circumstances whereby justification is provided (presentation of medical certificate stating incapacity to attend classes for more than 4 consecutive weeks). The student will be allowed a pro-rata refund of the tuition fees (excluding the annual registration fee) The deferral in this case must not exceed the period of 6 months after the date of course interruption.

Cancellation and amendments by the school

The Alliance française de Montpellier reserves the right to:

*Cancel a course before it starts when there are insufficient student numbers. In case no other similar course can be proposed, fees will be refunded in full. If this cancellation was to affect the chosen course in full, the annual registration fee will be reimbursed too.
The Alliance française reserves the right to change if needed the course times and schedule after prior notice.
